Wear clean, comfortable but
snug fitting clothing (wear no jewelry if possible). Refrain from
using scented body lotions or perfumes.
No Shoes/sock!
Wait at least two
hours after meal and one hour after light snack before practicing. Water
can be taken anytime.
Please advise the instructor
before the class of any injuries or special needs you may have. The
instructor must know if you are pregnant.
Avoid inversions while
menstruating.
If you are late and the class
is in centering, please wait at the hall until centering is finished.
Please turn off your cell
phones/pagers in class.
Put all your belongings in the
change room including keys.
Ashtanga students bring your
own towel and mat. Be responsible of your own sweat.
If you must leave early,
please try to stay in Savasana (Corpse Pose) for at least 5 min. on
your own, then leave before the class is in final relaxation.
Feel free to perform your
yoga at your own pace and listen carefully to your body as you
progress. You are your best teacher!
