• Wear clean, comfortable but snug fitting clothing (wear no jewelry if possible). Refrain from using scented body lotions or perfumes.
    No Shoes/sock!

  • Wait at least two hours after meal and one hour after light snack before practicing. Water can be taken anytime.

  • Please advise the instructor before the class of any injuries or special needs you may have. The instructor must know if you are pregnant.

  • Avoid inversions while menstruating.

  • If you are late and the class is in centering, please wait at the hall until centering is finished.

  • Please turn off your cell phones/pagers in class.

  • Put all your belongings in the change room including keys.

  • Ashtanga students bring your own towel and mat. Be responsible of your own sweat.

  • If you must leave early, please try to stay in Savasana (Corpse Pose) for at least 5 min. on your own, then leave before the class is in final relaxation.

  • Feel free to perform your yoga at your own pace and listen carefully to your body as you progress. You are your best teacher!
